Dot to dot – Christmas. Plus and minus sums.
Automate the plus and minus sums with this dot to dot – Christmas.
We still want to continue working with the children during this period, even though that is sometimes difficult. The children can still do their math with this fun snack.
Dot drawing
Instead of a dot drawing with consecutive numbers, sums must first be calculated to obtain a series of numbers that can then be looked up in the dot drawing.
The theme for this series has been chosen for Christmas and if this is very popular, there will be more themes in the future.
For every group.
This Christmas-themed dot drawing consists of three different PDF files. There is one PDF file that can be used for each group.
There is a file with plus and minus sums up to 20, a file with plus and minus sums up to 100 and finally a file with plus and minus sums up to 1000.
How is the implementation?
Each assignment consists of a series of sums in the left part and a dot drawing in the right part.
The students can fold the A4 in the middle so that they first do the sums in the left part without being able to cheat any answers from the dot drawing.
You can of course also use a blank A4 to cover the dot drawing.
Once they have calculated the sums, they can then check whether they have calculated everything correctly by making the dot drawing.
When they have done the sums correctly, the final numbers of each sum should appear in the dot drawing and they can do them from point to point in the order of the sums.
